Contribution to technological and biochimical characterization of varieties of Vitis vinifera ssp vinifera native of Algeria

Abstract

The objective of this work is the development of the culture of indigenous varieties of Vitis vinifera.L minors whose culture remains limited to a few feet from private owners in Algeria. The study will focus on the characterization of 22 varieties indigenous germplasm Station Regional Institute of Viticulture and Arboriculture Benchicao in Medea has already been the subject of molecular characterization by 22 SSR markers in the laboratory of UMR AGAP.1334.Montpellier SupAgro, INRA.

Technological analyzes of grapes by using analysis methods of the OIV were our main resource
Statistical analysis of the results obtained served to highlight the most discriminate parameters, namely the weight of clusters, acidity, sugars and phenolic compounds contents.

Interpretation of results highlights the best grapes with remarkable properties that can be used to search for the best varietals typical minors may eventually develop to the detriment of foreign varieties recent introduction.
