Become a member or a partner of IVES

Membership

You can become a member of IVES for an annual fee of 4,500€/year.

Why should my university/research institute become a member?

IVES is supported by 30 leading universities and research institutes in vine and wine sciences and is looking for more partners to increase its network. By joining IVES, your university or institute will become a major actor in open access publishing in viticulture and enology and will contribute to a model of knowledge dissemination in these domains in total independence of private publishers.

This is completely in line with the Open Science movement!

By becoming a member, you will contribute to the strategy and development of IVES and its journals, including OENO One and IVES Technical Reviews, with a right to vote at the General Assembly, which is held yearly.

Since 2020 all researchers are allowed to publish for free in OENO One.

Private and high visibility partnerships

You can become a private partner of IVES for an annual fee of 4,500€/year.

Or you can become a high visibility partner for 10,000€/year and contribute by participating in the translation fees of papers published in IVES Technical Reviews.

All the private partners of IVES are asked to sign the following chart of ethics.

Institutional partnership

Institutional partners are any institution, or association, research or interprofessional institute that does not fall into the category of members. You can become an institutional partner of IVES for an annual fee of 4,500€/year.

Why should my company/institution become a partner?

This is a high visibility tool to get closer to academic research and to promote your R&D activities and your brand worldwide.

IVES is supported by 30 leading universities and research institutes in vine and wine sciences as well as 44 private companies and institutions. It is looking for more partners to increase its activities. By joining IVES, your company/institution will become a major actor in open access publishing in viticulture and enology and will contribute to a model of free knowledge dissemination in these domains, without the barrier of subscription.

In 2019, IVES Technical Reviews, a technical journal specially designed to transfer research to end users was launched. Research papers are digested and published in a format accessible to professionals and reviewed by scientists. IVES Technical Reviews is edited in six languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese).

Once a year IVES organizes a Science meeting where the staff of our private and institutional partners meet researchers and network with other partners. At the meeting, researchers who have recently published in our research journal OENO One present their work in an accessible format. It is a unique opportunity to exchange with researchers and colleagues.
