In this work agro-ecological vineyards are considered to all those who present a production scheme with low use of synthesis inputs and that tend to achieve a natural balance within the crop, regardless of their adherence to a formal certification system. It includes those that are self-declared agro ecological, organic or biodynamic.
Evolution of the area of the most important vine varieties in Argentina
Analysis of the evolution of the most cultivated vine varieties in Argentina during the period 2000-2016*. The area evolution by variety, color and aptitude in all the country and per province was analyzed. The total area under vine increased by 11%, varieties suitable for wine and / or musts increased by 9.5%, those suitable for fresh consumption had an increase by 46.5% and those suitable for raisins increased by 25.3%.
Mineral, phenolic and anthocyanin profile in flours of grape pomace: effects of diferent winemaking process
Wine industry is an important economic activity in the World, generating significant quantities of residues, mostly known as grape pomace. The objective of this work was evaluate different fractions of must obtained along the vertical pressing, aiming to study important variables on quality of white wines. Thus, twenty portions of must were obtained for subsequent physico-chemical analyzes of total acidity, pH and tartaric acid by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry (FTIR).
Effect of closure types and storage temperature on the oxygen levels during ageing Malbec wines (Mendoza, Argentina)
During ageing, different chemical reactions occur affecting the stability of wine. These reactions depend on the temperature, the conservation time, etc. Also, these reactions are affected by dissolved oxygen (OD) and headspace oxygen (OHS) which are related to the permeability of different closures types.

The use of clonal selections in viticulture allows having vineyards with more defined and uniform characteristics. Different clonal selections of a same cultivar can have different productive and quality based characteristics, which are dependent on environmental factors. The objective of this study was to characterize three grapevine clonal selections ENTAV-INRA (169, 191, and 337) and a massal selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, submitted to two yield range management by a cluster thinning treatment.

Selection of native yeast of Calchaqui Salteño Valley for Torrontes wine
The Torrontés Riojano is an emblematic variety in the Calchaquí Salteño Valley. The obtaining of selected native yeasts is a tool of differentiation of the wines, highlighting unique characteristics of the terroir. Native yeasts were isolated from spontaneous fermentations of Torrontés grapes harvested in nine zones of the Valley. We obtained 45 isolates.
Influence of the storage condition on physicochemical characteristics of red wines from São Francisco Valley, Brazil
In the São Francisco Valley, Northeast of Brazil, tropical wines have been produced thirty years ago. Vines can produce twice a year and wine stability can change according to the harvest date. Normally wines elaborated from grapes harvested between November-December have a fast evolution, while wines from grapes harvested between June-July can have greater stability.
