The 10th annual meeting of IVES will take place in Spain, from 5 to 8 May 2026.

    DAY 1 | Tuesday, May 5th

    DAY 2 | Wednesday, May 6th

    General Assembly*, key figures* and editorial board meetings of OENO One, IVES Technical Reviews and IVES Conference Series. This day is an opportunity to review key achievements, exchange ideas and define the future priorities of each journal.

    IVES Science Meeting: a full day dedicated to cutting-edge technical conferences designed for vine and wine professionals.

    PRACTICAL INFORMATION

    Session 0
    TRANSPORTATION
    • Participants are autonomous in arranging their own transfers to and from the train station/airport.
    • Transfers between venues will be arranged:
      • Day 1: A bus will take you to the visits and return to Madrid in the late afternoon.
      • Day 2: At the end of the day, a bus will leave from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid for the Ribera del Duero region, where we will spend the night.
      • Day 3: In the morning, a bus will take you from the hotels to the venue of the Science Meeting and return in the evening.
      • Day 4: A bus will take you to the visits and return to Madrid in the afternoon.

    More details will be provided soon.

    HOTELS AND MEALS
    • Participants (except speakers) are responsible for booking their own accommodation in Madrid and the Ribera Del Duero region. Hotel suggestions will be provided shortly.
    • Most meals will be offered by IVES.
    FINANCIAL SUPPORT
    • IVES can contribute up to €200 toward travel and accommodation expenses for members of the journals’ editorial boards. For participants traveling from outside Europe (e.g., USA, Australia), IVES can contribute up to €400 toward these expenses. Original receipts are required for reimbursement.
    • For speakers, all expenses are covered.
