Proceedings of Macrowine
Macrowine is a prestigious international conference initially focused on the wine macromolecules. The core topic has also been the understanding of the structure, evolution, role and physico-chemical interactions of grape, vine and wine macromolecules, then expanded to grape vine and wine secondary metabolites. The general purpose of the conference is to bring closer scientists and build international networks in order to help wine industry to become more sustainable and more competitive, able to produce better, richer, more appealing, safer, healthier and more stable and diverse products in a context strongly restricted by climate change, and the conference stimulates the presentation of results from international collaborations and networks. Macrowine was first held in Reims (France) in 2006, then in Montpellier (France) in 2008, in Turin (Italy) in 2010, in Bordeaux (France) in 2012, in Stellenbosch (South Africa) in 2014, in Changins (Switzerland) in 2016, in Zaragoza (Spain) in 2018, in Verona (Italy) in 2021 and in Bordeaux (France) in 2023.
