The future of pesticide regulation in the EU – between precaution and proportionality

In the context of climate change, it is essential to provide producers with alternatives based on local grape varieties capable of meeting modern quality and sustainability requirements.

In the complex scenario that the wine industry and its promotion are currently facing, this research proposes a theoretical expansion of the traditional model used to understand the wine experience, namely the classic sensory, emotional and cognitive triad, moving toward a multidimensional approach that also incorporates cultural, symbolic and contextual dimensions in order to comprehend the conscious experience.

One of the basic problems in the viticulture branch is the improvement of perspective technologies for both vine training systems: with vertical standing and with free position of shoots, adapted to the requirements of complex mechanization.

This study examines the impact of wine tourism development on the sustainable competitive advantage of Spanish wineries, while also exploring the mediating roles of winery image and winery reputation in this relationship.

In Brazil, the regulation of pesticide residues is guided by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), emphasizing the importance of monitoring pesticide levels in agricultural products to protect consumer health.
