From wine tourism to eco-cultural tourism – the Atlas of the Wonders of Latin America

Abstract

The Atlas of Latin American Wonders—eco-cultural tourism—is examined as a new strategy for wineries in the Southern Cone of South America to address the market crisis. It represents a qualitative leap in the concept of wine tourism, moving from a proposal focused exclusively on wine (vineyard visits and tastings) to a more ambitious one that extends to natural and cultural heritage, and partnerships with gastronomy, local products, and anthropological festivals.
