La zonazione viticola e i compiti dell’amministrazione regionale

Solo attraverso un adeguato intervento di estirpazione e reimpianto dei vigneti è possibile preservare, adeguare e valorizzare il patrimonio viticolo e le produzioni che da esso derivano.
Il reimpianto dei vigneti è pertanto da intendersi come una normale pratica agricola, alla pari della rimonta di stalla in campo zootecnico, ma può assumere toni problematici quando, come si verifica adesso in Toscana per una serie di circostanze legate alla profonda trasfor­mazione della viticoltura avvenuta negli ultimi 30 anni, troppi impianti giungono contem­poraneamente a fine ciclo produttivo e devono essere rinnovati.

Influenza del sito di coltivazione nella espressione aromatica del Moscato liquoroso di Pantelleria

ln 1997, twenty six cultivation sites of cv. Muscat of Alexandria different for pedological conditions, altitude and exposition were selected through ail Pantelleria isle. ln each site, described and classified according to USDA Soil Taxonony and FAO Soil Classification methods, grapes, collected at technological ripening, were microvinificated, following a standard procedure which allowed to obtain the naturally sweet wine DOC Moscato di Pantelleria. Wines, five months after vinification, were analysed by gaschromatography.

Natural factors of the production ("terroir" and vintage) are known as an important element for identifying wines by their genuine typicité and their authenticity. The program "Terroirs d'Anjou" (1994-1999) aims at bringing the necessary scientific basis for a rational and reasoned exploitation of the terroir.

La région viticole Cotnari (Roumanie) et ses vins dans l’ensemble des grandes régions viticoles européennes

The author presents the geographical position of Romania as a vine-growing European country and analyses its relief and climate as factors of paramount importance for vine-growing environments. The climatogram system and the oenoclimatic aptitude index are applied in an analysis of the climatic characteristics of the Romanian vine-growing reg ions.
