We are very proud to welcome a new academic member: Fresno State University (USA).
The university campus is situated in the San Joaquin Valley, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and is internationally regarded for its training in the agricultural sciences. Centrally located within the largest grape producing region in the United States, the Department of Viticulture and Enology at Fresno State is widely recognized as a program that provides students with practical training backed by scientific understanding. The Department of Viticulture and Enology has 3 missions:
- To train the future leaders in viticulture and enology through education and research
- To conduct solution-driven research for the grape and wine industry
- To disseminate knowledge and information to the grape and wine industry, and community
