Oct 4, 2021 | IVES, IVES Conference Series, News

We were a partner of the 2021 Macrowine international congress. This event was held virtually last June. On IVES Conference Series portal, more than 280 abstracts written by wine scientists are available. They are available in Open Access and are divided into 6 sessions (see below).

Macrowine 2021 – six sessions:

  • Grapevine diversity and viticultural practices for sustainable grape growing
  • Microbial ecology from vineyard to consumption
  • Novel tools and strategies for precision and sustainable varietal and regional enology
  • Wine longevity and shelf-life
  • Chemical diversity of ‘special’ wine styles: fortified wines, passito style, botrytized and ice wines, orange wines, sparkling wines
  • Physiology of chemosensory perception, sensory science, consumers perception
